PROJECT SUMMARY

GST was contracted by the City of Torrance to upgrade the AV system in the West Annex Commission Room. This project involved system design, hardware procurement, installation, and programming to modernize the room’s audiovisual capabilities. GST provided end-to-end AV solutions and services to meet the City’s requirements.

Key Tasks Included: 

  • Designed and specified products, created a comprehensive bill of materials, and outlined required services.
  • Evaluated wiring paths for optimal connectivity, installed six speakers, mounted displays, and positioned Shure wireless WAP, monitors, and microphones.
  • Assembled and configured all equipment, integrated control components, powered the rack, and routed 27 data and control cables to the designated location.
  • Completed system wiring, conducted equipment testing, and validated full AV functionality to ensure seamless performance.
